Pay an IRS Balance
Use IRS Direct Pay to make an individual federal tax payment directly from a checking or savings account at no charge.
Click the button below.
Click Make a Payment.
Select Balance Due as the reason for payment.
Apply the payment to Individual Income Tax Return — Form 1040.
Select the tax year shown on the return.
Verify your identity using information from a previously filed return.
Enter the payment amount and bank information.
Save or print the confirmation page.
Pay a California Balance
Use FTB Web Pay to make a California payment directly from a checking or savings account at no charge.
Click the button below.
Choose the payment option most convenient for you.
Click Personal.
Select Web Pay for Individuals(yes, even if you are a sole proprietor filing Schedule C).
Enter your personal information and payment details.
When prompted, choose Continue as Guest (unless you already have an FTB account).
Save or print your confirmation for your records.
California LLC Annual Tax ($800)
Click the button below.
Select Business.
Select Web Pay for Businesses.
Continue as Guest (or sign in).
Select Annual Tax Payment (Form 3522).
Select the correct tax year.
Example: For the 2025 tax year, select 01/01/2025 – 12/31/2025.
Enter your LLC information. (State ID is different than federal EIN)
Enter the payment amount.
Review and submit your payment.
Save or print your confirmation.
California Corporation Franchise Tax
Click the button below.
Select Business.
Select Web Pay for Businesses.
Continue as Guest (or sign in).
Select Estimated Tax Payment (Form 100-ES).
Select the correct tax year.
Example: For the 2025 tax year, select 01/01/2025 – 12/31/2025.
Enter your corporation information. (State ID is different than federal EIN)
Enter the payment amount.
Review and submit your payment.
Save or print your confirmation.
IRS Tax Transcripts
Need access to your IRS tax records or income transcripts? Follow the steps below to securely view or download your IRS transcripts online.

Sign in to your IRS Individual Online Account (or create one if you don't already have one).
Select Tax Records.
Click Transcripts.
Select the tax year you need.
Choose the transcript type that best matches your purpose:
Tax Return Transcript – Most commonly requested for mortgages and income verification.
Tax Account Transcript – Shows payments, balances due, and IRS account activity.
Record of Account Transcript – Combines the Tax Return and Tax Account transcripts.
Wage & Income Transcript – Shows Forms W-2, 1099, 1098, 5498, and other income information reported to the IRS.

Enter your Social Security Number (or ITIN).
Enter the numbers from your mailing address.
Example: If your address is 1234 Main Street, enter 1234.
Enter your 5-digit ZIP Code.
Enter the exact refund amount shown on your California tax return.
Click Check Your Refund to view your current refund status.
